Excellent location with great views. Close to shops, pubs, and cafes. Easy access to the 199 steps and Fortune's famous smoked kippers. Plenty of room for 6 guests. Very clean hotel with provided cleaning products.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The location was amazing, right by the beach with stunning views. The flower filled bank on the way to the property added a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels were clean.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the property as there was no house number on the door. The paintwork inside the house looked tired.

We had a fantastic time at this beachfront property. the location was perfect, with easy access to shops, the Abbey, and the beach for fossil hunting. the balcony overlooking the beach provided stunning views, and falling asleep to the sound of the sea was incredibly relaxing.

We felt very well looked after during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

stayed in whitby before but 5 sandside villa was the best! perfect location overlooking the harbour, with a balcony and amazing views. small property but had everything we needed, including a lovely bath. hosts were great at responding quickly to any questions.

We had a delightful stay at 5 Sandside. the location was simply wonderful, with two excellent pubs just a short walk away. We couldn't ask for a better spot, with the traditional side of the town and the famous 199 steps nearby. the views from every window were absolutely spectacular. the cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary furniture. Michelle and Mark, the hosts, were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. It truly exceeded our expectations.

The only minor drawback was the lack of a small dining table in the cottage.

The location of this cottage was unbeatable. Situated right in the heart of town, it was just a short walk to all the shops, pubs, and cafes. Plus, the famous 199 steps to the Abbey were right on our doorstep. The views from the cottage were also breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the harbor and river. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. the constant hot water and nice bathroom were added luxuries that we really appreciated during our stay.

While the location and views were fantastic, there were a few downsides to our experience. The cottage could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as we found cobwebs on the walls and ceiling, dirty throws in the living room, and even spillage stains on the floor.

My recent stay at 5 Sandside in Whitby was wonderful. The location was perfect, with fine views of the beach right from the balcony. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea was a dream come true. The premises werevery comfy and tidy, and the beds were fresh and cozy. The access to shops, the Abbey, and the dog beach couldn't have been better. It was a good experience.
